Fear Keeps you Poor

There have been a number of articles written on this very topic, yet this remains the most commonly seen phenomenon in any society where people have failed to pursue the opportunities simply because they are feeling fearful.

Whether you are super wealthy or poor, fear is present in every human being, the only difference is, super successful people learn how to defeat their fear by their hunger and drive to succeed. They refuse to accept poverty as an option in their lives.

There are two most commonly perceived fears that keep most people from getting a better life.

1) Fear Of Losing Money

This is the most common reason why most people don’t invest, they don’t want to lose their hard-earned money. Wealthy also feel this kind of fear but they learn how to overcome their fear by taking action. They use their earned income to create more sources of income.

Fear of losing money not only blinds you to the wealth-creating opportunities but it also takes away the enjoyment of any money that you do have. It also makes great opportunities look less attractive. Overcoming this fear is what differentiates these 5% super wealthy from 95% of average people in the world.

Most average people rely heavily on one source of income, they work hard for every penny and depend only on saving money to build wealth. Saving money alone keeps most people poor and financially insecure, this not only takes decades to build some wealth but this cash loses value in the long run due to inflation. The only way this cash can help you build wealth and financial stability is when you start investing sooner than later.

2) Fear of Criticism

Fear of other people's opinions is another form of common fear that kills so many dreams and opportunities. We are surrounded by people who are constantly instilling doubts in our minds, they suffer from a disease called “ Limited Belief” and it's very contagious. People who contract this disease usually develop fear and doubts about their own abilities. Doubt kills more dreams and as a result, you let fear win and control your life.

When you care too much about other people’s opinions, this fear clouds your judgment, making people less likely to seize good opportunities that come across in your life.
